Dr Sindhu P Nair

Regional Director

Dr.Sindhu P Nair has a wide experience of working in IGNOU at various Regional Centres. Before being posted as Regional Director, Vatakara, she worked as Deputy Director at Regional Centre Cochin and in-charge, REC Cochin. Before that she has served as Assistant Regional Director at various Regional Centres. She has contributed to various areas of Open and Distance education such as student enrolment, learner support services, evaluation, training of functionaries of Learner Support Centres etc. She has delivered talks and papers at various National and International seminars and conferences. She holds a bachelors degree in Technology, Master’s degree in Business Administration and Ph.D in Management Studies. She has cleared NET in Management Studies. She has completed post graduate diploma in Distance Education, Higher Education Management and Master in Commerce. She is a national faculty of Massive Open Online Course in SWAYAM, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. She has also been a resource person for UGC Refresher and Orientation Programmes.
